Please read all the information below before purchasing!

In this fun and challenging class, you will create a bezel set gemstone ring.

We'll start by selecting a stone and materials you want to use. There will be a variety of basic gemstones for you to choose from that are included with your material cost as well as all the silver metals you need to complete the project. You will also have the option to choose a brass backplate for a mixed metal look if you desire.

After you’ve picked the materials, we will walk you through the process of creating a bezel setting for a cabochon (a stone with a flat back and domed top) ring, correctly measuring for your ring size, soldering all the components, finishing the metal, and setting the stone.

Each student will be provided with a jewelry bench furnished with all the tools and materials needed to complete the workshop.

If you're interested in purchasing tools after the workshop, I can provide you with a complete list of tools and links to purchase, as well as a discount code for wholesale pricing from one of my suppliers that will be good for 6 months after the workshop.

This class requires you to work with very fine details and demands some dexterity. Please consider this when choosing what workshop is best for you.

This is considered a make-and-take workshop. If you are looking for something more comprehensive, please contact me about private lessons.
